This team does not need any extra motivation to play the Falcons. We used to be a great road team and I hope we can go in there and seize the momentium early and give them a taste of their own medicine. We need to get in their head and piss them off to goad them into penalites and mistakes. I am a bit concerned about the officiating ( Seems we have had a lot of poor calls and nocalls go against us this year) and pray we get a unbiased crew. Our defense is going to have to be a source of frustration the D-line is going to be crucial to get inside penetration to flush and hurry M Ryan Old stone hands needs to come to play cover his man and not take stupid chances.

Yep, pressure Ryan, figure out how to grab and hold onto Turner's "treetrunks", and make sure Gonsalez (or however he spells it) is well-covered....maybe gameplan a bit for little "Julie Jones", and we got this! The officiating is ALWAYS a concern for me...especially with this being at the Georgia Dome....seems the refs always wanna favor those little rats! (Well, I am completely baffled at the entire stable of officials this year). Ugh.

I am forced into a feeling of angst every Sunday lately. We were supposed to "have this" in St. Louis and we were the ones choking.
I used to think we "played-up" or down to the opponent. Then we blew out the Colts and lost to the Rams. I'm confused. Do we have the talent? Absolutely. Do we sometimes squander our talent? Absolutely. I want a big win in Atlanta. I never bet real money on football, but one would have to take the Falcons and give away the point in this one. We'll know the outcome by the end of the first quarter. This one's televised in Alaska, btw!!!!! Get to stay home and eat the wife's b iscuits at halftime!!! WWWWoooooo hooooooo!! Alaska |
HERE WE COME, TA GE' CHU!!!!

"We'll know the outcome by the end of the first quarter."
C'mon Alaska, really? I think we're winning this one but seems like nearly every time we play the foul-cons it comes down to the wire. This goes back to the Steve Barkowski days & those Hail-Marys he threw. Rarely is this matchup ever decided early, so make sure you're there to the end. |
