The New Orleans Saints defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers yesterday by the final score of 27-16. While Drew Brees posted his season lowest passing yardage number, his 258 yards on Sunday were enough to enter Drew Brees into the NFL record books. Brees now has 3,004 yards on the season, making Drew Brees the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for over 3000 yards in the first 9 games of the season.
Brees is on pace for 5,344 yards this season, an effort which would shatter former Miami Dolphins QB Dan Marino’s single season passing yardage record. Credit to: New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees- One for the record books | Yardbarker.com Last edited by Saintswrath; 09-10-2013 at 05:56 AM.. |

As long as we incorporate the running game I'm happy, still don't mind him breaking records on the way to the super bowl
