![]() METAIRIE, La. -- When rookie running back Mark Ingram went down with a heel injury, the Saints had Chris Ivory ready to step in.
Now, after missing the past two weeks, Ingram is back, giving New Orleans coach Sean Payton a tough decision to make -- keep four running backs active Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons or make one inactive. A four-running back rotation is tough to maintain, but Payton wouldn't rule out the possibility of it. Full article. NFL.com news: How many RBs is too many? I'd be surprised if Payton rolled with 4 backs. Ivory is still hurt for one and with Atlanta's receivers...think I'd want to carry another DB.

Run the ball 35+ times a game. Each back touches the ball 8-10 times. Wear teams down and pound them 6 feet under. Play action pass to Devery/Meachem for an 80 yard bomb.

We need to run all of those stallions until it breaks Atlanta's defense down and then let them roll all over them. With all 4 I really could see 225-275 yards per game, let them loose, please.

Sean Payton need to just play lights out since we are approaching a Healing Bye-week, play hard but wise, it appears Ivory is injured again anyway so keep him out, bring in a DB, Atlanta will turn on everything they can offer on us, Julius Jones will give us a headache but if we can minimize what they potentially can do and control the ball longer than they can we'll break out with a win..
If Atlanta Control the time of procession they'll make us pay, one thing we have against them is the ability to convert on 3rd and short where they have a hard time doing that all season long. |
