![]() New Orleans was powered in overtime by a key fourth down stop by the New Orleans defense and then 42-year old kicker John Kasay culminated a day in which he turned back the clock when his fourth field goal, which occurred in overtime resulted in the game-winner and the Saints would go home from Atlanta with a 26-23 win with first place in the NFC South retained and their lead extended to one and a half games.

You know, I've stated earlier in the season that this team (esp defense) has yet to gel - that may have happened today.
Two tough home games ahead followed by two scrappy road games... I believe we show our true mettle and come out 11-3, poised to show Atlanta a more complete effort. SF76 |
