NFC South QB's?
2 Scales here.
The Superbowl scale: 1. Brad Johnson 2. Jake Delhomme 3. Michael Vick 4. Brooks The \"I\'d like them to QB my team scale\" 1. Jake Delhomme--Not just Jake love here, he just showed a lot at the superbowl. 2. Michael Vick--This could be #1, I\'m just not sure how much of Vick is actually a pretty good QB and how much is a media creation. 3. Brad Johnson 4. Brooks |

He asked for best QB, not best athlete. I would reverse that.... |

NFC South QB's?
1. Aaron Brooks...have everything you would want in a qb
2. Jake Delhomme..ability to communicate with his players & manage his offense 3. Mike Vick...in simple terms, a threat 4. Brad Johnson...age caught up with him [Edited on 15/2/2004 by ami2kind4words] |

NFC South QB's?
Ok, I\'m sure this will score some points for \"most annoying answer\", but here is mine.
Which QB you want on your team, and which is best (even of these four) will depend a great deal on who else is on your offense. 1. If your offense is largely built on a studly running game (RB and OL), then Jake or Brad will do just fine. Both control the ball well, and both make fairly solid decisions in the short to mid passing game. 2. If your offense is largely a bunch of cry-babies, then Jake is your man. We know that he is a gutty leader-type, don\'t we? 3. If your offense is geared to the deep pass (speedy WRs and a mobile OL), then clearly you want Vick. This guy can air it out! 4. If you have a fairly balanced offence (a good RB, solid OL, and WRs with hands but maybe not top flight speed), then I think you want Brooks. He is the one, when left alone (i.e. not told he has to be purely a pocket passer) who I believe will get you the most balanced production. Vick might be a close second in this case. I\'m sure that there are many other factors that might matter in who is the best QB, but my point here is that \"best\" is at least some of the time relative to the squad they play with. It is not clear to me that any of these four named QBs is that much better than any other one out of context. [Edited on 16/2/2004 by JKool] |

Hmmm,
I read the poll to be more like, \"Which QB in the NFC south makes their team the most dangerous?\" I just kind of figured that you can\'t really divorce their performance from their team. In that respect Jake and Vick are easily the most dangerous since their team finds a way to win when they are playing. Johnson is rock steady and can be efficient and hurt you all day long. Brooks can either hurt the other guys or crush his own guys all day long. Impossible to predict him. Just my .02 |

NFC South QB's?
A reasonable standard BMG.
In that case, my answer is Vick. Without him, they suck. With him, they\'re not too bad. The others: Delhomme (despite several glorious performance) surely has to thank the running game more than any of these others; I feel about the same about Johnson that I do about Delhomme - he doesn\'t really make the team that much more dangerous, he merely doesn\'t make it less dangerous; Brooks, given his own level on consistency and the level of consistency of everyone else on the O (aside from Duece), seems the most difficult to evaluate in this (\"making the team the most dangerous\") way. |
