Like 10 months ago against the Packers? I'm getting older but didn't the Packers route the Falcons in a must win playoff game less then a year ago?

Thats a lame attempt at rationalizing a major divisional loss and possibly a playoff berth.

Today's loss and the week 3 loss to Tampa are both games we let slip away. Neither of those teams beat the snot out of us...they both simply stole one from us late because we let them.

He lost my complete attention after reading this sentence. It's called "not being able to accept defeat" which is a fan failure. Beating yourself IS losing. Allowing a game to be stolen from you IS losing.

Wouldn't it be easier to just admit defeat than paint stupid excuses for losses as a roadmap to the Superbowl?
