Next man up. I hope Dunbar can step up. I was relatively confident he could, until yesterday. It seemed like we were confused, and out of position multiple times throughout the day. Was that a Williams thing, or more a lack of Vilma -like defensive leadership? Whatever it was, it wasn't pretty.

Everytime Matty called an audible, regardless of what it was, Dunbar threw up his hands and DB's scattered like roaches when the lights came on. Then Matty politely handed the ball off to his running back and the chains went scurrying down the sideline.
Dunbar skill - Average to above. Dunbar perception of offense - Not leadership level. But, like others, he's what we got. Last year running backs were our Achilles' heel. This year; linebackers. Alaska |

Now I dunno, but I reckon the gameday captain was probably Will Smith or Shanle. As you say, Dunbar is what he is. He ain't no Vilma, but heck that is true of many a player. |
