Yes, but if the contrasting figures we were given in the beginning of this thread were for two defensive players who play in a 3-4 base defense - then the numbers might not be comparable.

For example, Brooks Reed is an OLB in a Wade Phillips 3-4 base defense, which has made other converted OLBs shine in the past (f.e. DeMarcus Ware). So it would not be a surprise that a rookie who replaces Mario Williams (Ware 2.0) in that spot would be able to accumulate quite nice numbers fairly easily compared to Jordan, because that defensive system requires the LBs to be active in the tackling game.

At least that was my earlier point if you were referring to it in your post.

But, Reed got to the quarterback; Jordan has yet to get to the quarterback; and it's pretty obvious that the Saints Line Collectively has not put any significant pressure on opposing quarterbacks...
