This will be the last one.... These are the "after drinking for a while pictures".... Did you guys know, you can't buy beer at a store, in ATL, AT ALL ON SUNDAY??? In the dome you can buy it, or at a bar, but not at the store! INSANE!

Great pics ! and yeah it IS insane !
BTW what did you think of the suite ? My Co has one, I get to use it maybe once a year, usually during pre-season lol.. Our Sales folks guard those tickets with their lives.. |

Yeah, I knew that. Only because I was in Atlanta one year for NYE, went to see Phish @ Lakewood Amphitheater. I distinctly remember getting into town (NYE was on a Sunday), and stopping at a gas station to pick up some beer before the concert. I was baffled, and pissed!!
I also remember as we arrived at the venue, the theater sign still read "Van Halen Tonight" (apparently they didn't change the sign from the last show). I guess the boys from Phish saw it too, because the encore was "Running With The Devil"!!!! Good times!! |

You cant buy beer on Sunday.... (those are called blue laws, I think, but I dont know why.)
In a related story Mardi Gras is only a holiday in Louisiana. Everybody else still has to go to work/school. Texas used to have all kinds of blue laws. Good pics, Paul. Gives good perspective of the GA Dome. Im guessing it looks smaller and rounder in person, than it looks on tv, and probably much less imposing that our Dome. |

We were in Atlanta a couple summers ago, I thought it looked like a huge circus tent .... kinda fits the team and the coach they have now
