I'm arriving in New Orleans saturday evening with my brother. I wanna know two things, how is the weather right now, what type of clothes do we need to bring? And where can a hungry swede get a good po' boy and watch the games on sunday?
We got tickets for both the Giants game and the Lions game. Should be a great week!

Weather is unbelievable.. Light jacket or sweater....

Po-Boys... Mothers on Poydras is always a good answer...

Watching Sunday games... Our favorite is Gordon Biersch on Fulton Street... Directly across Poydras from Harrahs... Outdoor TV's to enjoy the weather... Great beer.... Lots of football fans.... We also love the Beach on Bourbon.... Indoor/Outdoor... Live DJ and music...TV's with the games on... They keep the party going with "shot girls" running around and a sort of Master of Ceremonies facilitating drinking contests....

I know you know about Champions Square pre-game(s)..... Have a great time... lots of us (Saints fans) will be roaming...

The best po-boys in the New Orleans are at the Parkway ...
New Orleans Restaurant, Family Dining | New Orleans, LA
Acme or Felix's for Oysters. Dragos for BBQ Oysters, they are the bomb.

As far as attire ... it's New Orleans... so it gets a bit unpredictable this time of year. This means it could be 80 degrees or it could freeze. I remember on Xmas when it was 80 degrees. So check the reports.

Have Fun!

Didn't The Dude recommend a restaurant during a recent chat room. PM him.

Er....... I don't think there is any truth in the news that the restuarant does a ****tail of
2 oz Gin
2 oz Vodka
1 oz Goldschlager Cinnamon Schnapps
1 oz Liqueur
1 oz Brandy
Mountain Dew Lime Soda

i.e. The Manic Depressive

I'm a 280lbs OT, Chin Ups are not really my forte. I could squat 600lbs thou.

Welcome to New Orleans! New York maybe the city that never sleeps but New Orleans is the city that never sleeps alone.

I hope that we can give you a better welcome than you did for us on that awful (moved to) Monday night post Katrina "home" game.

Less than 3 Mins passed before the first Boos started flying. Still makes my skin crawl.

None the Less two wrongs dont make a right - You can not add light to this world by adding more darkness and I hope you are able to enjoy the celebrations in New Orleans after we destroy Archie's son.

What does this have to do with anything?
