"Obviously, we have to go win, but since that won't happen, at least I can stay at my brother's house in Indy instead of a hotel when we use our Super Bowl tickets to go watch our home town team win another Super Bowl!"
I love Eli's attitude! |

Eli's not kidding. The Giants will come out Monday night and give it everything they have, because a loss will likely mean they won't make the playoffs. Looking at their remaining schedule, they play Green Bay next (at the new Meadowlands); then 2 of their final 4 games are against Dallas. They do also play the Redskins at home which should be a W, but other than that I don't see many games which they can have a reasonably good shot at winning.
Bottom line for the Giants is: lose to the Saints, and they won't make the playoffs. Even if they beat the Saints, they still might not make the playoffs. So losing this game is not an option for them. |

Eli you don't need to win. You might like losing. You still get paid, you can chill, visit the family, hang with friends. Try it this week and let's see how it goes for you.

Obviously, yes you do but it's not going to happen.
