New Orleans -- Imagine a Super Bowl on New Orleans television every week and you get some sense of the popularity of the New Orleans Saints.
In the New Orleans television market, stretching from northeast of Picayune, Miss. to southwest of Houma, La., the Saints regularly outscore every other NFL team in their home market. Consider last year's Super Bowl, the single most-watched TV show in U.S. history. The ratings and research company Nielsen estimates 162 million Americans watched the Green Bay Packers defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers, which equates to a 48 rating (48 percent of all U.S. households with television sets). That gargantuan rating actually falls short of Monday night's viewership in New Orleans; Nielsen reported that the Saints-Giants game did a 58 rating, ten points higher than the national Super Bowl numbers -- for merely a regular season contest. Like a Super Bowl every week, Saints are ratings king - New Orleans News, Breaking News, Sports & Weather - FOX 8 Live WVUE-TV Channel 8 |

I have watched our bandwagon grow leaps and bounds since 09...that's no joke..a lot of southeast Texas are cajun people and they feel a strong connection...and we are winners now...so they are onboard
I even know several Texans and believe it or not Dallas fans who pull for the Saints as well... I have transformed a lot of people on my own because im such a nice guy...lol...and now if anything they are casual fans that follow the team..and always want to talk about them with me now... Yeah we have come along way |

I could care less if people are "on our bandwagon". More fans is the gumbo to me.
