Free Agent News (the 08 theory is here)
I wonder if Jessie Armistead would be ok for a short term deal? I'd hate to have a Bryan Cox part 2, but I think Armistead might have another season left. But I wonder if Jeremiah Trotter could also become a cap casualty with all the moves Washington is making? I guess it all depends on the deal they ink Portis to. It would sure be great if Trotter became a casualty in the midst of all these redskin moves. I would guess that Jevon Kearse is going to end up in Arizona or maybe Philly or Buffalo. With all that cap room, I bet Denny Green is already burning up the phone lines. I sure hope we can get Howard signed to a long term deal before Kearse gets signed for truly stupid amounts of money. The Keyshaw/Galloway thing just puzzles me. I can't for the life of me figure that out. But as it involves a division rival, it seems worth mentioning. Kffl is also reporting that Fiedler has been in contact with the Bucs. Is it just me, or is anyone else waiting for the Saints to make a move or at least make some noise before things get too far along? [Edited on 24/2/2004 by BrooksMustGo] |

The Keyshawn/Galloway deal is easy- Dallas needs a possession receiver and Tampa needs speed. To me, this deal really makes sense.
Dallas is also in the market for a DE, either through the draft or free agency. They will contact Kearse, although I doubt they do anything beyond that. [Edited on 24/2/2004 by BlackandBlue] |
