The Saints played with intensity/passion against a very good Giants team and blew them out. I say 45-17 Saints |

The difference is we are at home. Drew & co. feed off that energy. They know full well what is on the line and I just know they will be fired up today and every game down the stretch.

I am NOT worried about the Dome being loud. If it was an early noon kickoff after the late LSU game yesterday, I would be worried. But 7 PM kickoffs are always loud, and night game crowds are easily about three or four times as rowdy in the Dome as noon day games.
Ya'll keep stressing out about the Rams game, I've let it go -- Payton was not on the sidelines for that one, it's a perfectly rational explanation for what happened there. A team not having a head coach on the sidelines is about as big an anomaly as you can have in the NFL. It just never happens. The ridiculous Colts game made everybody think it was okay, that we could fly by the seat of our pants, not having an actual head coach on the sidelines, but it clearly wasn't okay. The Rams game proved that. WITH Payton actually on the sidelines, they've truly "lost" ONE game this year, and that was to the defending Super Bowl champions in their house the same night they unfolded their Super Bowl banner, and even that one came down to the last play and almost forced an overtime that the Saints could easily have won, if they had won the coin toss. What more could you want. I dare say that most NFL teams would have been blown out in that Packers game, and not in it on the last final play like we were. |

Lions and Rams are two totally different teams, Saints are game planning for this one as if they are about to play a division rival, Lions are tough and could be leading their division had they cleaned up a bit self-inflicted mistakes.

I liked how wrong I was about last week, so I'm going with the same score this week.

Any given Sunday.
The Saints beat hard teams. The Saints sometimes lose to easy teams. The Saints go all out in primetime. Saints will defeat Detriot Lions. This game is a must. Every game is a must. The Saints have to keep up their momentum and instill fear in other teams. I am pulling for Texans now over AtlFalcons, of course. Giants, I don 't want them to win over Green Bay. I would love love to see the Saints defeat Green Bay and give GB their first season defeat. It can happen. |
