Titans scare me...

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; No self-respecting Saints fan should be "scared" of ANY team in the NFL. Maybe "concerned" or "keeping an eye on them" but SCARED? Come on. THEY are the ones who should be scared of THE SAINTS. Not the other way ...

This isn't 1987 or 2003 anymore, where winning a game is based on luck and a prayer, and hoping that other teams will lose is the only way for the Saints to squeak into the playoffs! The Saints came within one/two plays of tying the Super Bowl champs in their house on opening night, and just beat 4 "playoff caliber" teams in a row. Lost two games earlier, largely due to coach being not on the sidelines due to BROKEN LEG. They are #1 in total offense, #1 in passing, #8 in rushing, #2 in points scored, and a defense that people feel kinda sucks but is still ranked BETTER than Green Bay's or New England's.
Mr Magic and GAwhodat like this.

I'm pretty sure when someone says a team scares them, they don't mean it literally. They mean they think that team can and just might pull the upset.

Some of you guys are making a mountain out of a molehill, and that scares me.

Well since I'm the one that threw this turd in the punchbowl, I'll answer.

Do we have the talent to beat the living #%#@% out of the Titans? Sure!
Problem is that this is the type of game we struggle with at times.

See 2011 at Tampa Bay. See most other road games we SHOULD win that are outdoors.

What I mean is that I sure hope the players and coaches take this SERIOUSLY. Hebert piled on my thoughts by saying this would be the toughest regular season game we have left and I totally agree.

The most encouraging thing about this whole scenario is that the Titans are 7-5 and fighting for something. If they were 4-8 we would be totally screwed...
