this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I hate to complain about a great offense, but does anyone else wish we would give Pierre Thomas a few more touches? I'm not a cheerleader for him, but it sure seems like he makes the most of every touch ...

Anyone else want to see more PT

I'm not a cheerleader for him, but it sure seems like he makes the most of every touch and I'd like to occassionaly see him on the 3rd & shorts and more in general... |

Yeah definitely agree, our offense is great as it is but PT needs more carries, he always gets yardage and can do it all! I think sean will try to work him in there more, he knows how effective he is

I would like him to get 12-18 carries a game, he deserves them. And also whats up with Ivory? Has he fell out of grace with Payton? I'm still scratching my head with that!!!!!

I like the way the backs are getting the carries now, gotta keep P.T. healthy for the post season.
Ingram being the younger of the two can take the punishment, plus getting him in game experience. I see P.T. being the go-to back in tough situations when the games really matter... |

Maybe Payton is planning on trading Ingram for some defensive help next year and is building up Ingram's resume' for maximum value

Ingram gets stronger, further into the game, and the more touches the better. You don't trade a back like Ingram. No way. Would go down as one of the biggest mistakes in Saints history. This kid is going to be amazing.

I agree with SP here. Ingram is going to be a stud. I think he's starting to turn the corner right now. I like the kid and believe he's gonna be great for us.

I was kinda thinking the same thing about PT. He ran so well against the Giants and then got so few carries against the Lions. I am really happy to see Ingram breaking a couple of long runs recently. The coolest thing is the fact that you dont hear any of our rb's complain about their touches. It takes a special group to not let egos interefere with the team effort.
