New Orleans Saints tailback Mark Ingram was optimistic that his turf toe injury will heal sooner than later. His toe was only lightly wrapped Wednesday, and he didn't rule out the possibility that he could play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
"I'm feeling better. Better than I did yesterday," Ingram said. "It's an injury that can vary. For some people, it can linger for a while. For others, it can turn the corner fast. Hopefully these next few days, it feels better and I can be ready to go." Read more. I was sitting there all afternoon getting that "server is too busy or offline" type message and I was going OMG, COME ON PEOPLE, IT'S JUST A TURF TOE, WHY ARE PEOPLE FREAKING OUT, HOW IS THAT BAD ENOUGH NEWS TO ACTUALLY CRASH THE BLACK AND GOLD FORUMS? Rest Ingram until fully healed, and get Ivory some playinf time. We'll need all 4 ready if called upon in January.
Ivory could use a few games to get up to speed. This is the perfect opportunity. |

This is exactly why we kept all these RB's, lets see Ivory step up now, knock some of that rust off and bust couple long runs
