I agree with you, unfortunately some feel if you criticize the defense then you're not a fan. Our D is a weakness. I hope week to week it gets better. It's inconsistent at best from drive to drive, much less quarter to quarter.

Scott Fujita is a piece missing from the SB season that we've never addressed.

The game plan is simple. Stop CJ and we win, plain and simple.
I agree with your points. However, I think we lose for two reasons...

It's very cold. I'm here and it's like 30 degrees right now.

Second, we are an average team on the road.

I am as realistic as the next guy but I truly cannot believe the pessimism about this team. I would be the first to say it's going to be tough with our defense the way it is but never would I say straight out 'we are going to lose'. Is this so you can say 'I told you so' if it happens? Truth is, we don't know but what I do know is that I will have faith that this team will have me 100% behind them no matter what. And as for Brees looking mortal; he is but what a mortal. And if he doesn't play well, I believe we have a backfield that a lot of teams are envious of and remember, it is a team game. After all of the years of mediocrity we, as fans, have had to suffer, let's enjoy the team of today and what they have given, and will give us. They have Chris Johnson, We have Brees, Colston, Thomas, Sproles, Graham, Ivory, Moore and many others. Sounds to me like we have the upper hand. Yes?
