New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram's turf-toe issue kept him from practicing again today, and Coach Sean Payton said Ingram will be out when the Saints play the Tennessee Titans in Nashville Sunday.
Also listed as out are defensive end Turk McBride (ankle) and linebacker Jonathan Casillas (knee) and..... ( Read full article here ).. Titan's might not see a drop off in intensity this sunday's game however. |
I hope he gets better he will be needed down the road. Ivory is more than capable of stepping up.

If the Saints only have one RB injured at a time, everything will be okay.
|
this is why we need so many RB's. Doesn't matter who is back there, except for Sproles, one or two of them are always injured at any given time.
This goes way back to Deuce. It must have something to do with this type of offense we run. |
Runningbacks + high-powered offense + artificial home surface = RB injuries
I think I could call it the Detroit Lions theorum |

certainly no drop off in the RB category, which is good
no drop off at LB or d-line either, which is bad, because it means there isn't much difference between starter and subs |
Turf Toe! When the hell did he get turf toe?
Geeez... |
Officially INJURY PRONE. LOL
Hope he gets that back in line soon. How long did we miss Shockey last year for that? It was more than one game for sure. Alaska in TN |
It's a nice change to have this kind of depth at running back.
