All Brees needs is 239 a game the rest of the way, most games he gets that by the end of the 1st half, I know on FOX he said Championships first and records second but I find it so hard to believe

But if Marino played with todays rules we'd all be chasing 7,000 yards.

Marino also threw about 47 TDs that year. Brees and Brady should do it.

All dome games for the rest of the season, at least for Brees. Do you guys think the Saints would or could stop the game briefly to recognize the accomplishment when Brees hits the mark? Not advocating this, just wondering about it.

Yes, if Brees is clear out there on his own. No if Brady & co are still in the hunt overall.

Brees said after the game last week that he wants the record "within the framework of winning". me likie.
Honestly I think he and Brady have realistic chances - the others not so much. |
