The Mean Streak
RugbySaint's swagger post got me thinking.
The shedulers have blessed us, although I'm sure unintentionally. As we head into the playoffs I love my team to stay sharp, focused, hungry and mean as a damn rattlesnake. Our last 3 opponents will do nothing but help us. 1st up - Minnesota. All that whining, bichin and complaining, Jared Allen slammin our city, and the Minnesota fans still as hatefull as a dumped ex, its a perfect attitude catalyst for us heading into the final 2 games. Next up - Atlanta. Is there a team we hate more? If you said yes, turn in your man-card and scrape off that fleur-de-lis off all of your vehichles. You're a worthless wuss. Finally - Carolina. If you didn't answer Atlanta above, Carolina better have been next on your list, especially after the 1st game this season. With Steve Smith targeting Jenkins knees, and not getting a penalty for jerking Jenkins to and fro by the facemask, this is the perfect game to get us into that nastyass hatefilled pummell your ass attitude we need heading into the playoffs. We are set up to enter the playoffs with the proper kick your teeth in attitude that could catapult us toward another Lombardi Gras celebration in February. That is all. |

Danno I like the way you think. We don't have a nasty streak just yet, but I'm hoping to see it surface Sunday. Nicks needs to lead by example this week. I know he's got one in him.

Its time for him to step up as one of our "attitude adjusters". KSFA!!!! |

I know its probably unlikely, but it still worries me a bit. |
