Gilbert Brown (could be the nose man the Saints have needed for a long time, if only for a season or two)

I was thinking the exact same thing. I wouldn\'t mind Gilbert in black and gold as long as his contract is no more than three years and cheap.

I\'m going to embrace my doomerism on this point. Gilbert is grasping at straws. We need to honestly just fix the position. Gilbert is not even a stopgap solution. If it takes a dumptruck full of money to sign Robaire, then let\'s start backing that truck up.

Maybe Grady will play with a lackluster effort in Green Bay, but he is the reason Gilbert is being released.
