this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I cannot stand the resting players before the playoffs! (PLAYOFFS!?....lol) I mean we are in a dog fight for the 2nd seed. Say the 49ers lose tonight and win out. We beat ATL next week, rest Drew and lose week ...

We beat ATL next week, rest Drew and lose week 17. We lose the 2nd seed! We cannot afford to rest starters this year. Besides remember that year The Giants won the Super Bowl? They didn't rest starters the last week against the Pats! They lost the game but I believe it was a key factor in them winning the SB.

Drew may also be in contention for MVP as Aaron Rogers faltered up bit against KC. Drew's got him in yards, and his 5 TD performance placed him within spitting distance of the TD lead. Drew is on FIRE!

Why can't we get his contract done? This scares the SH** out of me, and I get a little pissed every time I think about it lately.

Phins fan here (...). While it's sad to see Marino's record go down, it was bound to happen eventually. Good luck to Brees! Couldn't happen to a better person or a better player.
And good luck the rest of the year. I'm pulling for a Saints Super Bowl. |

I usually care less about all time records.
Who holds the most All-purpose yards with his shoes untied. I mean do they matter... NO. Rings matter. But this one I hope and be glad Brees gets. We don't have many records like this anyways. The only one that stands out is the longest field goal. |

I really want Drew to get this record and then pass Unitas streak for games in a row with a TD pass since all the talking heads said niether record would fall. Drew gets these and he's a lock for HOF

Frankly I think he's already a lock for the HOF. I'd like to see him get the Unitas and Marino records so I can listen to all the talking heads justify why he's yet to win the MVP. It's a farce.
