Someone hold BMG down he is gonna lunar when he reads the response .... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saints sign Aaron Stecker to back-up Deuce ESPN Bottom Line Should we be excited ? Is he any good ? Registered: Sep 2003 Location: Posts: 273 He's kind of untested. The Bucs apparently never saw anything in him other than a 3rd stringer. I'd say he's an OK 2nd stringer. He's perfect for a change up if you're looking for more speed. |

At least they realize that we need a backup. Last year it seemed like they were fine with the crap we had. Hopeully someone is drafted on the second day to compete for the backup spot tho. I\'m not sold that Stecker really can hold it down.

Stecker, Carter, Banks - that\'s plenty of damn backups for Deuce. Let\'s focus on DEFENSE, huh?

Hey, it\'s still early. I\'m trying to be patient and optimistic, but it looks like you\'re right. Last year there were all kinds of rumors and the Saints did nothing. This year there aren\'t even rumors. That\'s not a good sign.

I would really like to see the Saints draft the kid from West Virginia in the latter rounds. From what I see, most have him falling to the 3rd or 4th rounds, and that to me would be a steal. He dominated in every game I watched this year. I know, the big east is not the SEC, but he played very well against Miami and V Tech.
