Amazing stat on Darren Sproles

Watch when he runs, he knows when to go down. He'll lean to the ground just before the defender can really hit him. This is a big part of why he's able to stay on the field injury free. You can tell it's something he's honed over the years being so small and it's a skill nobody really talks about but very critical to his game. The only thing he lacks is Reggie speed but that's ok because Reggie lacked every other skill Sproles has brought to the Saints.

But it's not noticeable because of his quickness and the "speed" at which he hits the line of scrimmage. Reggie's speed was only showcased a handful of times while with the Saints. Sproles' is showcased almost quarterly..."hands" ful. I don't ever recall Sproles being run down from behind. That's speed enough for me.

I'm not refuting your statement, only trying to put my worthless two cents in.
