this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I was just randomly thinking today, its nearly 2 YEARS AGO that we beat the colts in the superbowl. Week in and week out all the way through that season, every week felt like magic, like we all knew something ...

Its that time of year again..
I was just randomly thinking today, its nearly 2 YEARS AGO that we beat the colts in the superbowl.
Week in and week out all the way through that season, every week felt like magic, like we all knew something was different about our Saints. We have the chance to do something again, watching the superbowl highlights from 2009 has just hyped me up. One game at a time - We lock up the NFC South - Falcons standing in our way, lets crush them! Well its the home stretch and we have something to fight for yet again, because i know you guys ( just like i do) want to feel the sheer excitement and joy as we all felt when this happened - WHO DAT! |
Your bonehead creator picked a fine chapter to omit from your memory bank....let me ask you, does a machine like yourself ever experience fear? - Vegeta, DBZ

GOD that was a great moment. Nothing though, not even THAT beautiful moment in time, will ever mean more to me than this one:
Check that woman at the 00:56 mark. How much emotion did she have riding on that kick? Same as me. I'm a grown 42 year old man and that brings me to tears to this day. It always will. |
