Karma? Adrian Peterson injured.
He took a direct hit to his right knee today.
Looked bad..... |
That was a good solid hit. Honestly they have nothing to play for and he was still banged up... I would have sat him for the rest of the year. Gerhart has been playing well.

Dirty a** Redskins!
All joking aside. That injury looked horrible. I doubt he will ever be the same RB. This is why I don't believe in paying RBs franchise $ these days. |
Without AP the Vikings will be lucky to win 2 or 3 games
|
This just in: even with AP they are a 2-3 win team.

ESPN 1500 Twin Cities' Tom Pelissero reports that the Vikings fear Adrian Peterson tore both the ACL and MCL in his left knee Saturday.
Pelissero also confirms that such an injury would "probably" jeopardize Peterson's availability for the start of next season. Typically, doctors are forced to wait several weeks and sometimes months for the MCL to heal before repairing the ACL with reconstructive surgery. Peterson's MRI is scheduled for tonight, on the heels of the Vikings' flight home from D.C. Source: Tom Pelissero on Twitter |
Too bad for him. He's a hell of a running back. Or at least he was.
|
Great.
Now we can't tackle him by the ankle, or the leg! Alaska* |
That was a wise move, bringing back the bulk of your offense and risking him for the last 3 games for a 2-11 team.
BRILLIANT! |
Horrible, horrible news. I can never wish an injury on a professional sports, even if they are not my favourite.

If it looks like what it appeared to be, he'll be back to full strength in 2013, mid season. Even then, he's going to be half a second slower with limited cutting ability.
AP, you were a great runner, and a great complainer. Take your guaranteed salary and retire before you're in a wheelchair by your 30th birthday. |
