Fred Thomas is signed by Saints
When the Saints signed Fred Thomas as a free agent four years ago, they thought they were just acquiring a solid nickel cornerback but not much more. But after the eight-year veteran emerged as a starter, and arguably one of the best free agent gems in the NFL in the last five years, it cost more than nickels to keep Thomas around.

I would too. For some reason Plummer is becoming more and more appealing. I know he\'s not the shut-down cb everyone is looking for, but I believe he could be a solid upgrade. The first thing I\'d have to do if the Saints signed him is find some way to forgive him for playing in San Fran!
