So the 27-year old NFL passing record falls, and so did the Atlanta Falcons.
The New Orleans Saints, behind Drew Brees' 307 yards passing and four touchdowns, beat NFC South rivals Atlanta 45-16 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Brees broke the NFL single-season passing mark of 5,084 set by Dan Marino of the Miami Dolphins in 1984. Brees has 5,087.
