this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Were NOT signing anyone. Why are we just sitting there, letting everyone who is worth anything get away..... DAMN... I can't take much more of this. The Saints better have something up their sleave's. Well, at least Ian Gold ...

RVD,
I am not sure what to think about your shock about our lack of FA moves. While I too am very disappointed in this, isn\'t is somewhat expected? Last year it was the same thing: we wait and \"let the market settle\" (read, let all the impact players slide to other teams), then we sign a bunch of \"un-noticed and hidden talent\" (read, underachievers and bums) because we are so proud of ourselves for having found Horn and Glover in the past. Now, this is going to sound negative (normally, that is not my style), but I maintain that what was wrong with the Saints last year was their lack of skill at the GM position. I have said this before, and I can\'t remember if I got talked out of it, but I\'m pretty sure that the organization needs a new GM or things will continue as is. |

Yeah, your right. But, this is a make or break year for Jim Haslett and Co. Seems like they would do something, like get a playmaker or something.
It\'s just the same ole thing, AGAIN. :casstet: Oh, well.I guess we have to wait and see how FA and the draft goes. |
