True. We will have to win one, if not two games on the road.
And I'd almost bet the house that the #1 stat you will hear going into the playoffs is that the Saints have never won a road playoff game... |

Making it to 2011 Super Bowl bigger than winning in 09!!!
Absolutely Not! Nothing will ever be bigger than that magical season when the lowly New Orleans Saint, comprised up of a bunch of rag-tag rejects from around the league, lead by an quarterback many said would never play again, shocked the world going 13-0 on our way to beating one of the best teams in football history in Superbowl XLIV! We may be a better team this year, and we will probably end up with the same record, but nothing will ever be bigger than that 09 season. |

Impossible to compare. The first was sweet. The second will be sweet. Getting to the superbowl will be harder for this team, true. But beating the Packers in their house, on the road, in the cold, will show how great this 2011 team is.

two road games beat a home game and a half if this team makes the superbowl it is a better team than the 09 team, no they haven't taken the ball away at a larger clip but they have gone through a harder path.

I agree, bigger and sweeter. This would be our validation win. You win two and no one can say you got lucky or that the first one was a fluke. Win 3 and you are considered a dynasty like the Pats or Steelers or GB or SF.

All I can say is... keep the Saints the "outside shot" team... the "underdog" etc. etc...
This team thrives on this. They want the Packers. They want the Superbowl. I hope the media completely counts us out of it!! WHO DAT |
