We already know how much Saints coach Sean Payton likes to see Drew Brees break records.
Payton kept the QB in the game in the late stages of their Week 16 blowout of Atlanta, calling pass plays with a 38-16 lead so Brees could try to break Dan Marino's single-season passing yardage record of 5,084 on Monday Night Football. He did, winning 45-16 and prompting anonymous complaints from the Falcons. How should Saints' Payton handle Drew Brees in Week 17? |

IMO, it depends on how well/bad Panthers are playing defense.
If they are getting to Brees early, I can see him being pulled after he gets his TD pass in and enough yards to keep Brady from getting his record. |

This is about the 2nd seed now not keeping or breaking any records. Until Payton see that San Fran is a sure win Brees should play all out for the win unless we are up by 40.

Man ..... enough with the whining bout the record bs. How many times has an NFL record been accomplished or broken when the Saints were on the receiving end as the Falcunts are now?
Walter Payton, Joe Montana, ....come to mind.... 'F'em. Watching Drew and the entire Saint's offense drill the defense from that town; Atlanta, was pure and simple, awesome football. Let 'em cry...... in other words, Kiss our A$$ |

Drew plays all day for the opportunity to rest WC week as the #2 seed.
If Frisco stumbles, we need to make sure that when they get up, they find themselves in the Superdome. |

Here is how we should handle Brees in Wk 17: Brees passes for a TD, then AMBUSH, Brees pass for a TD, AMBUSH, Brees Pass for a TD, AMBUSH...follow these instructions over and over until the clock hits 00:00 in the 4th QTR
