Unless I miss my guess, he gets about 250 in 2-3 quarters of action. Thus Drew would only need 100-150 to stay comfortably ahead. However, I'm hoping since it is a new year we have a new Rams team (or at least one willing to undo the damage they did to us) and Drew has to stay in as the Rams win a nailbiter. Drew's final numbers? Let's say 31-39 for 413 yards and 3 TDs. And I'll also stick with my score prediction from the past several weeks. Saints 31 Opponent 21 |

I respect Brady, And I don't care one bit about him getting the record.
If Brees gets a concussion over 50 STuPID yards, then we are idiots. We lost starters Jimmy Graham, Chris Ivory, and Malcolm Jenkins ,all injured in a meaningless last game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, last season. Brees already broke the record 2x's basically. If SF starts to blow out the Rams get every starter out, period. If SF is losing we have to keep playing. Or payton needs to just say forget 2nd seed , this is our bye week, we will play as 3rd seed, and rest everyone. That would be smart also. |
Saints proved that pigs could fly in 2009.
Now its time for another miracle SuperBowl and go where no pig has gone before. |

I agree - I definitely wouldn't risk him over the record, but I bet he wants to be in there more than anyone else.
Let's just hope that the Rams give us a reason to have him in. Plus being undefeated at home has never been done. That would be a nice thing to add to this season, as well as matching the franchise record for wins at 13. I remember the last time we won 13 games in the regular season and that turned out very nice! |

Yeah, but I also remember what happen vs the Seahawks because we lost those guys. Really wouldn't care if Brees wanted to play, pull him. Its the smartest thing to do. Let Brady have it, if he can pull it off, we'll take the Lombardi instead.
I will be really disappointed if we lose an offensive lineman, sproles, colston, or a critical player on defense over some record, and it cost us a playoff game. GB beat us because we didn't have Moore, Smith, and porter playing. We need everyone to beat them. |
