playoff question..
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm a little confused about the playoff scenarios. If Falcons win and Detroit loses we play Detroit in round 1 of playoffs? If Detriot wins and falcons win we play the falcons in round 1? am I straight? Thats not ...

playoff question..
I'm a little confused about the playoff scenarios.
If Falcons win and Detroit loses we play Detroit in round 1 of playoffs? If Detriot wins and falcons win we play the falcons in round 1? am I straight? Thats not counting if we get bumped up to the 2nd seed due to the 9ers losing and us winning? |

If we end up the #3 seed...
We only play Detroit (as the #6 seed) if Atlanta wins and Detroit loses this week. If they both win or both lose or only Detroit wins, we get Atlanta as the #6 seed. Detroit has a 1 game lead on Atlanta, but Atlanta has the tiebreaker, so if the records end up the same (10-6) then Atlanta is the #5 and Detroit the #6. |
