I'm glad this didn't come as a surprise to anyone. We are an exceptionally poor team on D. The first half of the season was terrible. My mate summed it up when he watched us and described as the second most undisciplined D behind the Eagles. Spot on.
Then for some reason in the second half of the season we started playing. Our Rush D has been very impressive and we have made better stops in the secondary. Less big pass plays, or so it seems. The standout players on D would usually be Vilma and Smith but they have been very quiet. Roman Harper has been very impressive and so has Malcolm Jenkins. Really liking that partnership at the back. Greer is a quality corner and Patrick Robinson has shown glimpses of stepping up. A couple of unsung heroes who have impressived have been Casillas and Galette. They have come through and done more than you may have recognised. I definitely think they have been responsible for some of the better rush D. Williams can be an 'ok' DC but he has to do more than just blitz. I wonder how someone like Brees would cope against a Williams D. I reckon he'd shred it. |

I also think there should have been some mention of Harper, or even maybe Greer. Personally I think this should fire up the defense to no end, in order to say "in your face" with their postseason run!
Cmon GW, get dem boys FIRED UP!!!! Lets show them all how an elite D performs! |

Hey Gregg, we're all pretty disappointed. We're also disappointed that we don't have anyone who is deserving.
Sorry, with the number of big plays and the miles of passing yards we've given up, it's hard to say that Greer and Harper are worthy. |

If Pat Robinson played all season like he has played the last 3 games, he would be in the probowl.
Ever since he cut the dreads, he's been playing awesome |

First Round Picks need to play, right away; and yes, he's improved dramatically.
They are finally answering the alarm; I thought Wilson's blitz was especially encouraging; and he manhandled Newton who has been able to break many of those tackles... |
