I hope he is so mad he foams at the mouth and takes it out on every offense we face. Go get'em Gregg, make them pay. I hope this gets your attention and we see that fire of yours on the sidelines, I've missed it.

Two words...

Moti - vation.

Honestly, the only deserving players would probably be Greer and Harper. Vilma's having a down year and Jenkins started off not so hot. Will Smith disappeared way too often.

No sack leaders to speak of...
Terrible against the run until Johnny-Come-lately...
Nearly last in take-aways...
Seems more constructive to be mad about that.

Maybe if it did more than blitz 900 times a game and did a little coaching and taught fundamentals like tackling and wrapping up maybe we would get a few pro bowlers. Give my 2 year old daughter a headset and she can call a blitz every other play!

Well There are maybe 2 Saints Deserving of even a Pro Bowl Mention on Defense.

1). Roman Harper, And I would be the first to admit it.. Geez Have I bashed this guy for last 2 years.. He has had a very solid year.. But He still scares me in the passing game.. But he Has surely showed his value in the Blitz package and in the run game..

2) Michael Jenkins, Wow this guy is gonna be the best safety in the game real soon.. He is a Head hunter.. If anyone has noticed he has been a big part of the Saints stopping teams... When the job needs done he seems to always be there. He might not have the numbers as some, but he has the intangibles.. How many times has he broken up the big play, seems like every game...

As far as the rest of the defense I don't even see anyone close.. But I must say as a team the defense is doing a lot better lately...

GEAUX SAINTS!!!!

I think Greer deserved a spot, but whatever... If things go the way we want, Saints players won't be playing in the Pro Bowl anyway

I'm glad this didn't come as a surprise to anyone. We are an exceptionally poor team on D. The first half of the season was terrible. My mate summed it up when he watched us and described as the second most undisciplined D behind the Eagles. Spot on.

Then for some reason in the second half of the season we started playing. Our Rush D has been very impressive and we have made better stops in the secondary. Less big pass plays, or so it seems.

The standout players on D would usually be Vilma and Smith but they have been very quiet. Roman Harper has been very impressive and so has Malcolm Jenkins. Really liking that partnership at the back. Greer is a quality corner and Patrick Robinson has shown glimpses of stepping up.

A couple of unsung heroes who have impressived have been Casillas and Galette. They have come through and done more than you may have recognised. I definitely think they have been responsible for some of the better rush D.

Williams can be an 'ok' DC but he has to do more than just blitz. I wonder how someone like Brees would cope against a Williams D. I reckon he'd shred it.

100% Mitch, I posted Greers #'s this year in a post, and only Revis is above him. He could easily be seen as the 2nd best CB playing right now. I was disappointed also.
