I haven't checked stats for Ingram versus Ivory -- but, whoa, Ivory looks good!
A guy on Nola.com did the work for me: interception3:22 Chris Ivory is a bonafide starter "Looking at Ivory's stats in games where he had 10 or more carries (11 games) in 2010 and 2011, he totaled 899 yards on the ground with 186 attempts. He has averaged 4.83 yds/carry in those 11 games. His yds/game on the ground is 81.72 with an average of 15.12 carries a game. Take Ivory's average yds/game in games with 10 touches or more multiply by it by 16 games and you have an incredible season totaling 1307 yards. His ability to stay healthy has been a concern, but if Ivory is used properly given somewhere around that 15 touches per game average, he might be able to stay relatively healthy. I like Mark Ingram, but he has been outplayed and has shown to be injury prone as well. I hope the Saints don't push Ivory out of the building this year while placing their bet on Ingram hoping to validate their decision to take him in the first round. From a short sighted perspective, looking at this season alone, it wasn't a terrible decision to draft Ingram, but they could have found someone else for less. Regardless, the fourth running back insurance policy has worked this year. Now we have enough guns to take it all." |

Vilma & Jenkins were just precautionary sits, they'll be fine in the playoffs. The rest looked good during the game and will all play, Ingram is the only injury we have...
