Detroit has not been in the playoffs in this century. They'll be playing like they have nothing to lose because they've already over-achieved expectations. I would expect them to gamble alot on both sides of the ball,... and I expect it to turn horribly wrong for them.
I don't think the Saints will be over confident, or any of the other "didn't see it comin'" cliches you can think of. I think the Saints will be playing with a huge chip on their shoulder with a bad taste in their mouth from the results in Seattle last year. The Lion's Cinderella season is about to get their pumkin smashed to smithereens. |
