Brees:

Leads the league in touchdown passes (46)
Leads in completion percentage (71.2) and broke his own record.
Leads in passing yards (5,476) broke the record
Leads in completions (468) broke the record

Rogers:
Won 2 more games
Threw less picks

Throwing out the last game would be the only way Rogers gets the MVP which I believe would be outright criminal.

You know he's going to get screwed out of it, just like he did in 2009.
I hope I'm wrong though.

Here's the way I see it. You can't take anything away from Rodgers because what he did this year is worthy of the MVP but with that said, look at what Matt Flynn did yesterday. He now owns the Packer records for passing yards and TD's in a game so now you can make the argument that it's the Packer system that makes Rodgers look as good as he looks. I say we have a co MVP this year between Brees and Rodgers. The Packers clearly didn't miss a beat with Rodgers out but what happens to the Saints when Brees is off like the Rams game and first Tampa game. Co MVP would be my vote.

I hope Brees wins it. He certainly deserves it. But, Tom Brady does the most with the least.

We all know that Rodgers will get MVP.

But as I have said before, the Saints have no one to blame but themselves because of losses to Tampa Bay and the Rams.

Saints could very well be 16-0 right now, or at least 15-1.

I hope the MVP winner has plenty of firewood cut so he will be warm while he watches Brees and the Saints win another Super Bowl!!

What they don't want to acknowledge is the fact that Brees has made every player on that offense an equal. Only the surfacing of Jimmy Graham (who at 6'6", he's hard to ignore open in center field) and Darren Sproles (who was born with a step on the delivery room) have players besides Brees shined this year. He has no favorites on the team and by showing that, he's proved he has perfected the quarterback position. Lets not forget that his stature, size and strength is that of an lowly, average man.

They both could tie. It has happened before.

Co-MVP is the best Brees gets. The media essentially gave the MVP to Rogers 5 games ago, so no way do they take it away. Brees is our MVP every year.
