He was born to be a "knock 'em the F*** out" Defensive Coordinator. He's found a good home and I doubt he leaves it anytime soon. |

I Think GW Can Get Predictable At Times...I Will Forever Be Thankful For Him Because Of His Helping Us Get A Title But I Guess All Good Things Must Come To An End

For all of our griping (& damn - do we gripe sometimes). The "D" has really come up big at times.
Is it the defense that GW runs OR is it the lack of personel to run the "D" that has made them look... poor at times? I dont know. I agree with the consensus that he would be hard to replace!! |

I would be intrigued by the possibility of bringing in Spagnuolo to replace GW if that becomes necessary. He did a great job with the Giants' D and the Saints did lose to the Rams mostly because of their D stepping up.

Well I don't know the inner details about how tight Fisher is with Williams, but I'll say this...it depends on the team Fisher ends up going to, whether GW is in the mix or not...the unspoken deal is that if you want Gregg Williams, you pretty much have to take his son Blake on your coaching staff as well. Payton has found a way to make this work, but I know a LOT of front offices out there would balk at that type of arrangement, "hire me AND my son, we are a package deal".... GW can theoretically take a job pretty much anywhere he likes, more money etc., but I think he doesn't go anywhere else besides the Saints, unless it's to be a head coach AND his son gets a promotion and/or coordinator type position that moves his son up in the football world. Just my two cents on it.
