He definitley turned Hakeem nicks' head when he layed him out vs giants!
This kid has been reliable and looks like he naturally knows the safety position, when Jenkins went down vs Carolina, Quddus made a play on Steve smith that forced newtons pass to be off for an interception by pat Robinson |

He caught my attention in camp. My son, who is a HUGE Saints fan was in from out of town for the summer. So, I was there for 3+ hrs every day. Out of sheer boredom, I began to look for the nuanced activity.
He seemed to be running 100% when sometimes vets ran 90% or so. He made plays. He got fooled. Invariably, he went to someone, whether it was a coach or a teammate, and was in their ear. I hope that he continues to progress. The Saints' ability to develop players and add depth has begun what I believe will be a future where the talk will annually include them with the Steelers and Patriots. Organizations that everyone assumes will be there at the end. That is the hallmark of respect that I want our team to reach. |
I'm no one.

Jenkins will have competition next year, this guy is a thumper. He has Sharper traits written all over him. You can blast me but I like this guy..

It was sad to see Usama Young leave the Saints during the off-season, so it has been nice to see that the FO was able bring in another young (pun unintended) safety into the fold.
To be honest, I was expecting much more from Jenkins this season, but hopefully he'll be able to play and shine in the playoffs. |
