Interesting. I\'d keep Tebucky at FS and move Lynch to SS, instead of benching him. But then, I doubt the Saints would pursue him anyway.

because continuing our trend of signing over the hill guys in the secondary is a good idea right?

Don\'t confuse CB with safety. Aeneas Williams went to the pro bowl, and he\'s 36 years old.

Yeah, that\'s what we need, a FIFTH safety. Tebucky, Mitchel, Bellamy, and Green aren\'t enough. Let\'s go sign another one. Unless Lynch wants to play fullback, he\'s useless to us.

I didn\'t realize that Green resigned with us. Regardless, I find it hard to believe that Mitchell will be completely recovered from the injury from last year.

Green is a unrestrictive free agent and I believe he played his last game. John Lynch at FB... funny... I like that one. If we can sign just 2 more players... I think we will be sitting pretty for the draft.

Well maybe that\'s my bad. I thought Green had resigned. Even so, I don\'t think Lynch is even worth considering until we do something at LB. Do that, then worry about safety. Green should be resigned as a safety measure, unless Lynch is just as cheap. Then go after him. Anyway, I thought Lynch got exposed this season. As TB\'s front seven faded he didn\'t look like such a stud anymore.
