We got Tony Corrente.

His crew did our game with Houston earlier this season.

At least we don't have Hochuli!

I can't keep up with the officials. I just need someone to tell me we're getting screwed or not.

Gregg Williams and Jim Schwartz get into a knife fight after the game.

The Saints try to give Malcom Jenkins a game ball but he repeatedly drops it, Gregg Williams' head explodes.

Most all of us anticipate a real battle here with the lions. Good to see a old program back from the grave like us. Get the right front office and things start to get better.

I think that there is a complex, non-linear function which determines how severely the Saints will get screwed in the playoffs.

Ed Hochuli.....I googled him last week, and he is a trial lawyer and resides in somewhere like Phoenix! He has 6 kids! I figured he was from Atlanta or something, the way he ALWAYS screws us. I absolutely HATE it when he officiates our games. Ugh. Anyone but Ed!!!!

Yeah, "He whose name must never be spoken" really did a number on our team . . . the old GM . . . ya'll got to know who he is . . . I can't say his name, I saw him doing a college bowl game preview while eating lunch a few weeks ago and lost my appetite . . . it's like at least once a day Lions' fans stop whatever they're doing, face Ford Field and thank the football gods for Martin Mayhew and Tom Lewand . . .

Thanks! I was eatin' when that picture came up. It was pretty good too. Then that picture comes up. Matt Millen is an ass hat and should be forced to actually do some good for this world. Cleaning porta-potties or something like that.

Ed's crew doesn't work this weekend.

The chances of us getting "Ed-bowed" relies on a Saints victory and dumb luck next weekend.

I wish there was some way we could know why crews are assigned the way they are.

It's like the officials are employees of the CIA or something. Total secrecy.

We SPEND the money to keep the league alive. We GET what they give us.

Sorry to disappoint you, but WE do not spend the money to keep the league alive. The networks and advertiser do. We'll watch regardless.

I think it's a sad state of affairs in the NFL when fans/teams are shopping referee crews.

But it's just a reality....

I wasn't talking about the jerseys and such that I buy.

I was talking about the televised games not being as important as they once were.

If I didn't have the live chat on this site, I would gladly go to the gym, wash my car, help my mother etc...

I am happy to watch (regular season) games on DVR and skip every single commercial along the way. It is often convenient for me to do it that way.

Something should give on their side. That's all I'm saying.

I tell you what, if the officials start causing trouble, we'll get Brandon Pettigrew to kick the their ass!

I don't think I've ever seen a player hit a referee and NOT get ejected. Come to think of it, besides high school football, that's one of the ONLY times I've ever seen a player hit a ref period!!!

Same here Halo. I was absolutly stunned when I saw that. I was even more stunned when he wasn't ejected.
