I think it interesting that the Saints' average starting field position was unchanged from 2010, starting at about the Saints' 28. Sproles' contribution to the return game clearly made the team better, despite the increased number of touchbacks.
However, our defense allowing so many yards created a lot of downed punts inside the 20 and 10, giving the Saints a great deal of stadium to cover. |
