this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Do you realize that he set the record in the same year as the new kickoff rule that resulted in a record number of touchbacks? Sproles only returned 40 kickoffs this year vs. the 50+ of the past 3 years. ...

Do you realize that he set the record in the same year as the new kickoff rule that resulted in a record number of touchbacks? Sproles only returned 40 kickoffs this year vs. the 50+ of the past 3 years. He would have SHATTERED the record given 10+ more kickoffs and possibly topped 3,000 total yards!
 For the record, I borrowed the argument from someone else. |
