this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I am curious about the way we, as a community, feel about nicknames. Calvin Johnson is "Megatron". Matt Ryan is "Matty Ice". Adrian Peterson is "All Day" or "Purple Jesus". Maurice Jones-Drew is "Pocket Hercules". Tom Brady is "Tom Terrific". ...

Nicknames. Earn em!
I am curious about the way we, as a community, feel about nicknames.
Calvin Johnson is "Megatron". Matt Ryan is "Matty Ice". Adrian Peterson is "All Day" or "Purple Jesus". Maurice Jones-Drew is "Pocket Hercules". Tom Brady is "Tom Terrific". We have (locally) "Quiet Storm" and "Breesus". Of the above players, who are the ones that haven't EARNED their nickname in the NFL...... Feel free to add to the above list. |
