Cornerback Update
dont even get the hopes up boys, this would be a very bad decision. he is asking WAY too much, granted he is a great corner, but still, he\'s looking fer like 10+mil a year, pluz huge bonuses. if we didnt splurge a lil on springs or winfield, no way we should here. its basically gunna be the same action as before, none until draft day.

He won\'t get $10m/year. That is just his cap number now. He will probably get about $6m/year and that would be money well spent on my book.

I have no idea what this guy will cost, but I like him a lot. Maybe he can make Tebucky play like the safety he should be. Law is a good corner, better than most. I\'d be happy to have him, but money is a concern.

Well They are not going to out right cut a premiere corner. Trade possible but still don\'t think the Saints are going to move on a trade for him.

They cut Lawyer last year. I wouldn\'t put it past them to cut Law this year.

Cornerback Update
Even though, I think we could probably get 2, maybe 3 good years out of Law and it would hugely improve the secondary. |

Cornerback Update
dont get me wrong, i would love to have law in our secondary, but look at the money that has been dealt for lower quality corners so far this offseason. The Pats offered him 26 million over 4 years and he called that an insult. Gimme a break. There\'s no way the front office would make a move for him at that price. Where has the talk about Bolden been? I really like this guy and think he would be a great pick up. On another bad note, contrary to rumors, there are no talks between the saints and Gold, so we can jus ferget about that idea. We need to solve LB or CB before the draft. I dont think we could cure both of those in this years draft. We need to grab bolden, the draft vilma and then another CB in the 2nd to get depth, and then go o-line prolly with the #2 of the 2nd round.

is this all really happening????

Cornerback Update
Law is under contract and expected to be a 10 million dollar cap hit. so they want him to renegociate... and not collect on the contract that he was promised. Gold has been in touch with several teams including New Orleans but not contract was offered as of yet.
