I'm sure the NFL will have a new "Playoff only Rule" "If the opposing (AKA Saints) quarterback fumbles the ball the defense will be awarded an automatic touchdown"

Jim Schwartz wears ELEVATOR SHOES. He's got little-man syndrome.

I'm not sure where this person heard this, but Schwartz did NOT say anything about the officials, whether he said anything about the Saints,
I have no idea... Someone is trying to start rumors....
Good Job Saints, from the Lions fan base, knock San Fran and GB on their asses !!!

Of course he blames the officials......they lost.

Us fans have said plenty, but not about your game, one crazy call would not have changed the outcome of the game last Saturday, now the Green Bay on the other hand, that was just a mugging ..... I read all of the things said by Schwartz, and he's never mentioned anything about the officials for any game....He knows if he did he would be heavily fined, and or lose his job .....

In fairness he got burned badly on that fumble and possible return for a TD. You are looking at being down 21 - 7 at that point if that play counts (which it should have). I'm not sure it still matters in the final result. But it would change the complexion of the game going forward.

No way is that fumble returned for a TD if the refs don't blow the whistle - at best you would be looking at a gain of some 15 yards. We've already seen how, for example, Bushrod can make tracks.

That might have been returned. There was a pretty wide open field back there. Nobody was back. He could have returned it. If so you are looking at a 21 - 7 Lions lead and a totally different game.

Yesterday was "clean out your locker" day in the Allen Park, MI training facility of the Lions. Season's over, it was an up-and-down year for us, but overall, a good year. Time to move forward and either play some golf, do some fishing, or watch the rest of the playoffs . . . my point being, it's a moot point, it's a conversation for the Lions boards now.

Let these guys focus on SFran.

If you watched Schwartz's post game press conference, he said exactly what this thread is about. Go to the transcript or watch the youtube.

Not a rumor. Reality is not a rumor unless you're running for public office.
