Bolden, who played for the Atlanta Falcons last season, was arrested on Oct. 11 and indicted Feb. 20 in Atlanta on charges of driving a stolen car and marijuana possession.

He is facing a felony count of theft by receiving stolen property for driving the sport utility vehicle with a license plate that did not match the car. Police also found less than an ounce of marijuana in the vehicle.

Guerriero is hopeful the charges will be dropped and said three teams have made offers to Bolden and five others have called to express interest.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"We're at the point now where we're talking about adding depth at good value. The other things we really would like to do, we can do in the draft." -- Saints GM Mickey Loomis on what his team has accomplished in the first 10 days of free agency.

we\'re talking about adding depth at good value.
Hey Mickey, how about adding a STARTER at any LB position? Novel idea I know. Bolden would help... and contrary to what the bean counter thinks he knows about football, Bolden would be a starter in our secondary.

Are we trying to be the NFC version of the Ravens?

The Saints are in the middle of the pack when it comes to cap room. If they were so concerned about money they they would be in the 30-40 million under the cap.

Players around the league have said the Saints are a \"Mickey Mouse\" Organization and not serious about winning.
Player\"S\"?...as in more than one? I\'ve head One, disgruntled player (Kyle \"I like to run my big fat mouth\" Turley) say that. Who else said it?

The Saints are 11.3 under the cap...and this makes them a \"cheap organization\"?

The Cowboys, according to 08\'s numbers, are 10.8 under tha cap. They\'re a cheap organization?

Hardly folks. Loomis isn\'t Bill Parcells here people, but there\'s something to be said for spending money wisely. I wonder how eager ya\'ll would be to spend all this money if it was YOUR money. If you want to see your team spend foolishly on Free Agents then get Direct TV and watch the Redskins. :casstet:

Yes - playerSSSSSSS saintfan. Ready? Turley, Roaf, Joe Johnson, Sammy Knight - who said they weren\'t serious, and Ricky Williams, who thought any team pinning all of their hopes on one player was foolish.

You know, we can go back and forth on this. We can talk about how ALL teams have disgruntled players that say the same thing. We can argue cheap vs. frugal/value-centric. We can talk about how we\'ve had such a favorable cap situation for the last three or four years. What we CANNOT talk about is winning, b/c we haven\'t done much of it... EVER. Last time I checked, that\'s what Billy and Saintfan and a whole lot of other people on this board tried to convince us this was all about. I said it was about money first, but apparently it\'s about winning. So, if that\'s the case, then how would you classify an organization that\'s won ONE playoff game in 37 seasons? I\'d use two words: MICKEY MOUSE.

\"Excuses, excuses, excuses. That’s all anyone ever makes for the New Orleans Saints’ organization.\" - Eric Narcisse
