Will Harper be ready?

"Saints SS Roman Harper told reporters that he plans to play through his "significant" ankle injury in the Divisional round.

Harper didn't practice Wednesday, but did do individual drills. "I'm resting up, getting a little bit better, getting healthier every day," he said. "So I feel good about this weekend. ... I'm moving around well." Harper essentially guaranteed he'll play against San Francisco, so look for him to start."

Honestly, I don't like this one bit. Gore will give our boys hell if Harper's not working the field in run-stop mode. That plus the fact that he's a significant part of the blitz package.

My question is will he be able to make an impact and will GW pull the trigger with a backup if it looks like he's in trouble early?

A wise man once said, "Poo-poo smells just as bad as s#!%. One just SOUNDS cuter!"

What exactly is wrong with his ankle?

I've read where he said he was very oppurtunistic about playing, but I'd rather him sit out if his injury will just hinder him to much...

I'm reading and hearing on NFL Network that the team is terming the ankle injury as 'significant'. If its a high ankle sprain he could be playing hurt all the way through the playoffs...if the team doesn't sit him.

Who is our 2nd option?
